Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using dashready. By accessing our website or engaging our website design, development, hosting, and maintenance services (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, your business or agency. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of your business to engage the Services.
dashready provides website services for growing businesses and, on a white-label basis, for marketing agencies, including:
The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for any project are set out in the individual proposal or service agreement we provide after an initial enquiry and, where useful, a call.
Our website contact form is handled by a third-party form-processing service. When you submit it, the information you provide (such as your name, email, and message) is processed by that service in order to deliver your message to us by email and to filter spam, in addition to dashready as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting the form does not create any obligation on either party; it is simply a way to get in touch.
dashready does not publish fixed plans or prices. After an initial enquiry and, where useful, a call, we prepare a proposal and a fixed quote specific to your project, which you are free to review and request changes to before accepting. Unless your agreement states otherwise, a deposit is due before work begins, with the balance due on or before launch. Care-plan fees, if selected, are billed on a recurring basis as set out in your agreement. Fees for completed work are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in your agreement. We may change pricing for future work with reasonable notice; this will not retroactively change fees already agreed.
To deliver a project on schedule we rely on you to provide content, brand assets, feedback, and approvals in a timely way, and to confirm you have the rights to any materials (text, images, logos, fonts) you supply. Extended delays in providing materials or feedback may affect the timeline and, for fixed-scope projects, the quote.
Where an agency engages us to build a website for its own client, the agency is our Client and is responsible for its relationship with, and payment obligations to, its end client. We will not contact the agency's end client directly unless the agency asks us to. The agency is responsible for ensuring the end client agrees to terms consistent with these Terms for hosting and maintenance we provide behind the scenes.
On full payment for a project, ownership of the final website design and custom content we produce for you transfers to you. We build on standard, portable technology and do not lock your site to a proprietary platform. We retain ownership of our own pre-existing tools, code libraries, and processes, and any third-party components (such as fonts, plugins, or stock assets) remain subject to their own licences. Unless you ask us not to, we may reference the completed project and show non-confidential screenshots in our portfolio.
You retain ownership of all content and data you provide to us and of any data collected through a website we build or host for you. You grant dashready a limited licence to host, process, and transmit that data solely to deliver and support the Services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and consents for any personal data collected through your website.
For sites on a care plan, we host on reputable infrastructure and aim for high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance will be scheduled to minimise disruption where practical. If you end a care plan, hosting and maintenance stop at the end of the paid period; we will provide a reasonable opportunity to move the site to another host and will assist with the handover.
The Services and any website we deliver are provided "as is" and "as available." dashready does not guarantee specific business outcomes such as a defined number of visitors, enquiries, search rankings, or revenue. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, dashready will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the project or, for care plans, in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold dashready harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or content and materials you supplied to us without the necessary rights or consents.
Either party may terminate a project or care plan as described in the applicable service agreement, or by written notice for month-to-month care plans. On termination, any outstanding fees for work completed remain payable, and we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export or migrate your site and data.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which dashready is registered to do business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of our website or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
